Tariffs, Duties, and Taxes

Information regarding US tariffs, import taxes, and duties applicable to your orders.

US Tariffs and Taxes:

The United States Government has issued an executive order to remove the de minimis exemption for imports from all countries (the threshold below which imported goods are not subject to duties and taxes). This policy will take effect on August 29, 2025.

It’s important to understand how this may impact your shipments.

In addition, on August 7, new tariffs came into effect, increasing the import costs for many international shipments to the U.S. These changes could affect how our products are processed by customs and the total cost for U.S. buyers.

What does this mean?

  • Duties and customs clearance:
Starting August 29, all shipments to the U.S., regardless of their value, will be subject to applicable duties and customs clearance.
As sellers, we must be prepared for these changes and ensure compliance with all customs requirements — although we don’t yet know exactly how they will affect our listings and sales.

  • Possible delays:
Shipments may experience delays due to the new tariffs and increased U.S. customs requirements.

U.S. customers already enjoy lower prices compared to European Union buyers because of the absence of VAT, and this will continue.
We estimate an increase of 20%–25% in the final price of our products, but we still don’t know the precise impact on our products.

All our shipments are DAP (Delivered at Place), meaning that we are responsible for delivering the goods to a specified location in the destination country, but the buyer is responsible for import duties and taxes.

Other International sales outside the European Union

For international sales outside the European Union, the same principles apply regarding duties and customs clearance:

  • All our international shipments do not include VAT, which may result in lower prices for customers outside the EU.
  • Customers are responsible for any applicable duties and taxes upon delivery. If your shipment is subject to these fees, they will be collected by the carrier at the time of delivery.
  • Each country has its own regulations regarding duties and taxes, so we recommend checking with your local customs office for specific information.

All our shipments are DAP (Delivered at Place).
